Arise's System and Equipment Policy is the strictest published standard: the PC must be hard-wired via Ethernet and cannot be on Wi-Fi at any time, even encrypted. 5G, satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot services are all prohibited. Minimums are 10 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up, rising to 30 / 10 for some client programs.

Arise's PC scan checks network latency and will flag Wi-Fi even when speed looks fine. Its own troubleshooting guide says: 'Ensure you are on a hard-wired connection via Ethernet and not Wi-Fi.'

Check My AddressA wired connection — fiber, cable, or DSL — with an Ethernet cable from your computer to the router. Fiber is the strongest fit for Arise's requirements: upload speed matches download speed, latency stays low and consistent, and weather doesn't affect it.
If you're on satellite, a cellular hotspot, or 5G home internet, no speed test will get you past Arise's rule — the connection type is what's being checked. The fix is a wired line, installed with the Ethernet connection in the room where you'll work.
