“Wired internet connection via an Ethernet cable (No WiFi or Satellite connectivity). Internet Download Speed: Minimum 20 Mbps or higher. Internet Upload Speed: Minimum 5 Mbps or higher.”— Liveops — Agent Requirements & Eligibility · source
Liveops runs an automated Tech Check before you can pick up an opportunity. Its own prep guide says: 'You will need to be connected to the internet via an ethernet cord to your modem or router. Wi-Fi is not supported.'
Check in 30 seconds. If a wired connection is available, we'll set it up with Ethernet at your desk before your start date.
Check My AddressA wired connection — fiber, cable, or DSL — with an Ethernet cable from your computer to the router. Fiber is the strongest fit for Liveops's requirements: upload speed matches download speed, latency stays low and consistent, and weather doesn't affect it.
If you're on satellite, a cellular hotspot, or 5G home internet, no speed test will get you past Liveops's rule — the connection type is what's being checked. The fix is a wired line, installed with the Ethernet connection in the room where you'll work.
