Concentrix internet requirements for work-from-home jobs

Concentrix requires high-speed internet with no wireless, hotspot, or satellite connections. Its postings specify 10 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download at minimum, and the wired requirement is a hard rule rather than a preference.

What passes for Concentrix

A wired connection — fiber, cable, or DSL — with an Ethernet cable from your computer to the router. Fiber is the strongest fit for Concentrix's requirements: upload speed matches download speed, latency stays low and consistent, and weather doesn't affect it.

If you're on satellite, a cellular hotspot, or 5G home internet, no speed test will get you past Concentrix's rule — the connection type is what's being checked. The fix is a wired line, installed with the Ethernet connection in the room where you'll work.

Before your Concentrix tech check

1. Confirm a wired provider reaches your address (check above).
2. Run Ethernet to your workspace — not just to the router's room.
3. Turn off Wi-Fi and any VPN on the work computer.
4. Run a speed test on the wired line (target: at least 10 Mbps down / 10 up) and screenshot it.
